First Springer (3/16/19)
March 23 March 29 Sailboat in the Fall

April 16, 2019

The water is a starting to clear up from all the rain - we have 13 inches of visibility as of this morning - hoping that by this Friday it will be good to fish once again!

April 6, 2019

There has been 6 to 12 (and more) each day last week - not a super bite but at least they are starting to be caught! I would say the Willamette is doing just a little better then the Columbia in this area, both are producing though.

March 23, 2019

I have heard of a few fish out there today, and saw one (see picture). All week it has been a fish or three everyday, early on the run still I guess. But at least they are catching fish!

March 18, 2019

Sunday I didn't see any fish, but I heard of about 5 from this area. A beautiful day for sure, not really busy but quite a few boats out looking for fish!

March 17, 2019

I saw 3 fish in person on Saturday - our first fish of the season. The small one was 13, the other two were 18 and 19 pounds. Nice fish.

And we have our first moorage customer with a Willamette Springer! And I got a picture, posted right here!

March 16, 2019

The fishing boats are out and looking for Springers! I will post here if we see our first fish of the season :-) Afternoon update: I have seen the first fish here - a very nice 18 pounder - but I didn't get a picture! Caught on the Columbia at the Davis Bar area on herring. So let the fishing begin!

No fish on the board yet, but I have been hearing of the first ones being caught around here. I'm sure we will see our first Springer across our docks this weekend!
